Denkstatt Exhibition at Architekturforum Zürich

it was a pleasure to intervene in the incisive exhibition by the studio Denkstatt sarl, Basel together with the artist Larissa Fassler.

Located at the reknowned Architekturforum Zürich the exhibition “Carte Blanche XX – «Und das ist die gute Nachricht: Die Schweiz ist gebaut.» was conceived as a diagrammatic tableau of projects across the emerging landscape of Swiss conversion culture. The examples of projects from the growing network of architecture and urban development were geared towards conversion, repurposing, reuse, the common good and climate justice, placed in dialogue with each other, show how participating actors, their motives and partnerships can be reconnected in a cooperative way. A multitude of new practices, methods and strategies could be discovered across disciplines, revealing a change of perspective in today’s construction. As a ‘network show’, Carte Blanche XX constituted a captivating, co-productive, discursive and polyphonic project. The show can still be seen until 1st of March 2025.
