now out: new book “Michel Foucault oder die Heterotopie”
with this book I investigate the spatial thinking of Michel Foucault in respect to the notions of heterotopia, governmentality and biopolitics as well as Foucaults specific epistemological understanding of the interweaving of knowledge and representation. This volume marks the beginning of the series ‘Raumdenken heute’ (Spatial Thinking Today) which investigate modes of spatial thinking within the realm of political philosophy. In the series, I compile relevant works of political philosophy in order to critically examine them from the perspective of spatial sciences and place them in new contexts.
